In today’s digital age, accessing and managing financial information has become more convenient than ever before.With access to Owner Portal through our website www.therentshop.co.nz, you now have a powerful tool at your fingertips to gain insights into your properties, monitor transactions and track financial progress seamlessly. The Rent Shop owner’s portal is a secure online portal designed specifically for our landlords, providing access to vital information relating to your rental properties. We understand the importance of transparency and efficiency in Property Management which is why our owner portal is tailored to meet the unique needs of Landlords.
To access your owner portal, you can log in directly via our Company’s website www.therentshop.co.nz under "Client Resources" is access to the owner portal using your email address and password. Rest assured that all information and the website itself are fully secure.
**Please note If this is thefirst time accessing the portal follow the simple instructions below**
· Put in your email address and click "Forgot password". This will generate a new password reset email.
· Then please go to this brand-new email with a link to reset your password.
· Then please click on the portal link above and put in your email address and the newest password to confirm you can access the portal.
Dashboard
When you log into the owner Portal you will be greeted with a welcome message on the dashboard. Tip- check the information we have for you and verify or update it if necessary.
Statements
At the end of every month, your owner statements are produced and will be available under the statements page,where they can be downloaded as and when required-Please note these statements are also sent to your email on the first working day of each month ( month end)
Portfolio
This is where you will be given an overview of your portfolio in title and list views. The information here consists of linked bank accounts details, opening current balances, along with Management Fees percentages.
Transactions
Transactions related to your portfolio are displayed here, separated by property if there is more than one transaction types displayed include receipts, charges, invoices and payments.
Diaries
This area can contain copies of supplier invoices and any other information that the Property Manager uploads via the property diary. If it is a file, it can be downloaded as and when required *Please note we do not upload inspections into this area due to overloading of information on the portal. These are sent to your individual email by your Property Manager*
End of Month Statements

Rest assured, your end of year statements will be available and sent via email and through your owner Portal during the end of the first week in April.
