After being involved as a builder from the age of 18, Mike decided it was time to take control. From a young man at the age of 24 he started to build a property portfolio to secure his future legacy. 

18years later Mike attended a property investing seminar and this was the change for him in the business. What he learned over the next five years about property investing gave him the confidence and skills not only  to build on his property portfolio, but share the wealth of knowledge with others -sharing his  knowledge and skills with new property investors all wanting to secure their financial future. As a coach this has been his most rewarding experience of his life, building on a property portfolio far beyond his wildest dreams

Being a qualified builder, it then made sense 5 years later to combine his knowledge of investment properties, experience of renovating properties, together with building experience, to take the next step into Property Management.

This is where The Rent Shop Hobsonville was born. Having the enriched business background with plenty of experience and a love for building and property investment. For several years these two passions of property investment and building were operating in isolation, until he had the idea to unite the two. Mike combined his business experience with property investment and building to offer a professional and ethical property management one stop shop solution. This is when he made the decision to join this Award-winning Property Management Company- The Rent Shop and became the first Licensee in the West Auckland area.

At the Rent Shop Hobsonville we are passionate, not just about managing your property but about maximising it. Claire has joined The Rent Shop team and with her comes the reputable career in property management that she has built over the past 10 years.

Born and raised in West Auckland; Claire has an undeniable knowledge of the location she still calls home. She knows the little details that can help your property rise like none-other. Claire got into property management to follow her interest of the housing industry and the pleasure in helping others. Coming from a close knit family of tradesmen she knows all the in-and-outs of property care and renovations as well as the importance of a well maintained investment.

Claire prides herself in being approachable, honest and a reliable contact who you can depend on for all your property management needs.

In her free time Claire enjoys catching up with friends and family, travelling, concerts and a great cup of coffee.
