Originally from China and educated in the US, Andrew speaks both English and Mandarin. In his spare time, he loves running marathons and exploring New Zealand.
Ben brings an enthusiasm for all things property and people. Carrying an academic background in finance & economics he began his property management career in Hamilton in 2014 and has prospered in the industry ever since. Now serving as one of The Rent Shop’s apartment experts he specialises in Auckland’s CBD and fringe suburbs with a strong knowledge of everything apartment related.
Ben understands that property management is more than coordinating tenancies; he prides himself on providing a tailored and comprehensive approach to helping his clients achieve their individual investment and financial goals. With people being at the centre of the equation Ben recognises that communication and relationships are the focal point of how he operates. Over his time in the industry Ben has put great importance on keeping up with legislation changes and the ever changing market.
Growing up by the coast Ben has a life long passion for the water and outdoors. Outside of work you’ll find him surfing,running or exploring the outdoors with friends and family.
Terry joined The Rent Shop in 2019 as a Property Manager based in the city office.
He has an extensive background in customer service roles, including several years in Property Management, alongside varying sales and managerial roles.
This means that Terry has an in-depth understanding, and a wealth of knowledge pertaining to owning a property and managing the client relationship. Terry is solutions orientated and enjoys building relationships with owners and tenants,always working to do his best to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Terry enjoys getting out on his motorcycle, spontaneous trips to Waiheke (mainly to visit the wineries), camping and putting in some hard work in the garden.
